OFFICIAL RULES

• NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

• This contest is administered by COVER Corporation and Comic Fiesta (“Administrators”). Upon winning the contest, hololive fans can have their artwork showcased at the Comic Fiesta event in Malaysia, which will be held on December 23 and 24 (MYT).

• ELIGIBILITY. Only artists that are over the age of 13 that are from the following countries are allowed to enter: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Timor-Leste, Thailand and Vietnam.

• HOW TO ENTER:

• Fans must submit their artwork by 15th December 2023, 11.59pm (GMT+8) to the Comic Fiesta committee for evaluation by filling in the contest form.

• Fan art must depict a character that is one of the hololive Meet ambassadors, namely Sakura Miko, Kureiji Ollie, IryS, Yukoku Roberu and Regis Altare. No other hololive talents, characters, brands or third-party intellectual property can be included in the artwork.

• The hololive Meet Ambassadors can only be drawn in their official costumes (New Year, Summer, Idol, etc.) or hololive Meet casual costumes only.

• Fan art must be original, must not be made with AI and may not contain any intellectual property of any third parties.

• Any elements that are not allowed by the laws of Malaysia and/or are considered controversial in Malaysia, including (but not limited to) foul languages, sex, violence, gore, religion, and royalty, are NOT allowed in the artwork.

• Artworks must be in the following format:

Medium: Digital / Traditional (Scanned)
Size: A4 (2480px X 3508px // 21cm X 29.7cm // landscape or portrait)
Resolution: 300dpi
File Format: JPEG file with full quality save (e.g. 12 in Adobe Photoshop)

• EVALUATION. Either the hololive Meet team or the hololive Meet team along with the Comic Fiesta Committee will select 3 to 5 winners among the submissions based on the talent and skill of the artist and the portrayal of the hololive Meet ambassadors.

• THERE WILL BE NO MONETARY PRIZES. The winners of this contest will have their artwork showcased at Comic Fiesta and will receive a hololive Meet goodie bag.

• By entering this contest, all entrants are agreeing to the Derivative Works Guidelines of COVER Corporation (https://hololivepro.com/en/terms/) (“Derivative Works Guidelines”). All art submissions will be treated as derivative works. Entrants will not be assigning or transferring their intellectual property rights to the artwork to COVER Corporation or Comic Fiesta. However, for avoidance of doubt, the underlying intellectual property rights to the hololive Meet ambassadors will continue to be exclusively owned by COVER Corporation.

• Even after winning, all winners hereby agree to continue complying with the Derivative Works Guidelines

• Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.

• By entering this contest, entrants hereby accept and agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrators, which shall be final in all matters. Winning the contest and having the entrant’s artwork showcased at the event constitutes permission to the Administrators to use the winner’s name and artwork for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law.

• LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering this contest, entrants waive all right to, and hold the Administrators harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (1) participation in this contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize; and (2) any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights. Administrators will also not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant's failure to receive prize notices due to entrant's spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this contest; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the contest, or announcement of the prizes. If, in the Administrators' opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the contest, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the contest, the Administrators, in their sole discretion, cancel or modify this contest in a manner deemed appropriate by the Administrator. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name on the online entry form.

• CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this contest and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Japan, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. The Official Rules also consider the effect of laws and regulations in Malaysia to the extent that they apply. The Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first jurisdiction for any disputes that result from matters related to this Agreement.

• OTHER: If relevant, the terms and conditions of Comic Fiesta may also apply to this contest (https://comicfiesta.org/kbase/tnc). If there is any inconsistency between these Official Rules and the Comic Fiesta terms and conditions, these Contest Rules shall prevail.
